Nature Diary

Wren, robin, junior goldfinch, curlews in field and overhead,lapwings - flock flew over garden.
Heron by the millpond, mallards and moorhens.
Swallows and swifts.
Pheasants, squirrel on the lane to Calder Vale.
Hares in field.
Hens and ducks in the farmyard!

2 jays in field nearby, blue tits at the feeding station at the cottage, heron in evening sky, stoat running across road nearby, 
5 curlews, 6 lapwings, 4 hares, numerous house sparrows, lots of cows and sheep.
